The Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Samsung’s first smartwatches to ship with Wear OS 7 (One UI 9 Watch), could gain offline Gemini support in a future software update.
Wear OS 7 brings upgraded health, fitness and wellness capabilities to both devices, along with new watch faces and improved Gemini integration.
Google’s Pixel Watch 5 also launched with Wear OS 7 and includes offline Gemini support, meaning the AI assistant can operate when the smartwatch is not connected to the internet (via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi).
Galaxy Watch 9 and Offline Gemini
Although offline Gemini is currently limited to the Pixel Watch 5, it will likely arrive on the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in a future software update.
