For a limited time, Samsung is offering customers who buy the Galaxy Z Fold 8 through its online store in the United States a $200 trade-in credit if they do not have a device to trade in. The credit is provided instantly but will not reduce the purchase price of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 itself.
How the Galaxy Z Fold 8 $200 no-trade-in credit works
Customers who select the no trade-in option when buying the Galaxy Z Fold 8 from Samsung’s online store receive $200 as an instant credit. Samsung notes on its store that this credit cannot be applied to the phone purchase and can only be used to buy additional, eligible products.
The credit can be applied toward eligible Galaxy Watch models, Galaxy Buds earbuds, tablets, accessories, and Samsung Care+. For example, when purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for $1,899, the $200 credit can be used to buy the Galaxy Watch 9 for $179 instead of $379. Samsung may also provide additional bundle savings on top of the credit depending on the product you choose.
The promotion is available only for purchases made through Samsung’s online store in the United States and is offered for a limited time.
