Apple Adds iPhone 18 Pro, New Macs to Self-Service Repair Store

Apple is now selling DIY replacement parts for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as well as parts for the new Mac mini and Mac Studio, through its self-service repair store in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The Mac mini parts cover models with M6 and M5 Pro chips; the Mac Studio parts cover models with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips.

Customers can order parts and tools from the store and follow Apple’s published repair manuals for each device. Those with the necessary know-how can perform repairs themselves instead of visiting an Apple Store Genius Bar or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

How Apple’s self-service repair works

After purchasing parts and tools, users access step-by-step repair manuals provided by Apple for the specific device. The manuals and available components aim to let experienced users complete repairs on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, the Mac mini (M6 and M5 Pro) and the Mac Studio (M5 Max and M5 Ultra) without professional service visits.
