Global Guidelines on Industrial Embodied Intelligence launched

The drafting of the Global Guidelines on Industrial Embodied Intelligence was officially launched on July 17 during a forum on global artificial intelligence standardization at the 2026 World AI Conference & High-level Meeting on Global AI Governance. The guidelines aim to steer the smart transformation and upgrading of the global manufacturing sector by addressing both technical priorities and governance requirements.

## Scope and priorities of the guidelines
The Global Guidelines on Industrial Embodied Intelligence will concentrate on core technology and governance areas identified as essential for industrial AI adoption: industrial embodied intelligence itself, environmental perception and state recognition, autonomous planning and dynamic decision‑making, multi‑agent collaborative operations, natural human–machine interaction, and functional safety and trustworthy ethics.
