Has a startup addressing data centre water use secured $2.5 million in Seed funding?

A climate tech startup focused on reducing water usage in AI data centres has successfully raised $1.8 million in Seed funding. Enaxiom, founded in Sydney in 2023 by Bijan Rahimi and Tia Collings, secured the investment from Epic Angels, BlackNova, and Antler, bringing its total funding to $2.7 million. The funds will be used to deploy its Hydrocool system, which enhances data centre cooling efficiency and promotes water reuse, alongside expanding its team and operations in the US. Enaxiom’s innovative technology utilizes non-potable water sources, including wastewater, to recover high-quality water, addressing the critical issue of water scarcity in the industry. CEO Tia Collings emphasized the growing importance of water management as AI infrastructure expands. Epic Angels’ investment reflects their commitment to supporting female founders in deep tech, recognizing Tia Collings as a leader in a traditionally male-dominated field.
