Has Apple Photos Introduced a Slideshow Maker?

Apple has unveiled upcoming slideshow features for its Photos app, enabling users to transform any selection of photos and videos into a slideshow. Users can customize slide duration, transition styles, and add music. With iOS 27, users will also be able to save slideshows directly as videos to their Photos library for convenient future viewing.

The update brings additional features such as the ability to save individual video frames as photos, enhanced album organization tools, emoji reactions in Shared Albums, a view of recent activity in Shared Albums, and access to full-resolution photos and videos within these albums. Apple is also introducing new collections in Photos, such as Captured by Me and Identity Documents, along with improved search capabilities for identifying people and pets.
