Has Hardline Secured $2M in Pre-Seed Funding?

Hardline, a construction technology company based in Santa Monica, California, has successfully raised $2 million in pre-seed funding. Led by Mucker Capital, the funding round also saw participation from Suffolk Technologies, StandUp Ventures, Nirman Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. Mucker Capital, a venture firm known for supporting early-stage software and internet startups outside Silicon Valley, spearheaded the investment. The funds will be utilized by Hardline to enhance product development, strengthen integrations with construction management platforms, and expand its market presence in both commercial and residential construction sectors. Founded by Alena Tuttle and Karly Heffernan, Hardline is a female-led company specializing in AI-driven VoiceOps solutions for the construction industry. Their innovative platform transforms verbal communication from construction teams into structured records such as daily logs and change orders. Operating from Santa Monica, the company serves contractors across the U.S. and internationally.
