Moroccan tech startup DONE has successfully raised $2.1 million in Seed funding to fast-track the development of Morocco’s first super app. This investment, supported by local investors and business angels, highlights a growing trust in Morocco’s potential to develop competitive digital platforms on a regional scale. Established in 2024, DONE has quickly expanded, operating in eight Moroccan regions with a workforce of over 90, alongside 1,000 restaurant and retail partners, and a delivery network of 500 ambassadors. Following an initial $600,000 founders’ round, this new funding will support DONE’s growth into more than 10 major cities, enhance logistics and infrastructure, and further develop its product offerings, including a marketplace, quick commerce, digital wallet, BNPL services, and branded stores. The company is committed to promoting digital inclusion by creating jobs, improving service access, and empowering local communities through technology. As the super app market in MENA and Africa is set to surpass $30 billion by 2030, Morocco is poised to become a significant player in the continent’s digital transformation. “This milestone fuels our mission of building from Morocco, for Moroccans first — and for Africa next,” the company stated.
