Saudi startup Rased, founded in 2022 by Talal Al-Badrani and Mustafa Al-Salhi, has successfully closed a pre-seed funding round with Wa’ed Ventures and Shorooq Partners at the helm, alongside other investors. Specialising in AI-driven fraud detection and prevention, Rased offers a platform that identifies and halts digital financial fraud in real time, ensuring seamless user experience and compliance with Saudi Central Bank regulations. The technology swiftly analyses behavioural and device signals to intercept suspicious transactions for banks and financial institutions. With features like a comprehensive fraud case management system and seamless integration capabilities, Rased is engineered for regulatory compliance and privacy. The startup, currently operating in Saudi Arabia, is set to expand across the GCC, utilising its scalable infrastructure to cater to digital enterprises.
