The company, founded in 2024, specializes in offering payment cards optimized for significant ad spending and automates bookkeeping via AI-driven receipt matching. With this new capital, Franklin aims to enhance its AI capabilities, focusing on developing agentic finance tools. The funds will also support the expansion of its engineering and commercial teams as the company ventures into new markets. Currently, Franklin’s platform facilitates automated bookkeeping and financial reconciliation for over 250 Danish businesses, with recent growth into the Dutch market. Nikolaj Bomann Mertz, CEO and co-founder, leads the company in its mission to revolutionize financial management for e-commerce.
