How Did Maieutic Semiconductor Secure $4.15 Mn in Seed Funding?

Bengaluru-based startup Maieutic Semiconductor has successfully raised $4.15 million in seed funding, with Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners leading the round. The funds will be used to grow the engineering teams and accelerate the time to market for their innovative AI-powered platform, which automates the early-stage design process of analog IC chips. Founded in 2025 by experienced industry professionals Gireesh Rajendran, Ashish Lachhwani, Rakesh Kumar, and Krishna Sankar, the company aims to streamline the traditionally lengthy and resource-intensive chip design cycle. The founders bring a wealth of expertise, having previously established Steradian Semiconductors, a company acquired by Renesas Electronics in 2022. Maieutic’s platform leverages a customised AI model to enhance chip design efficiency and decision-making. Competing with global players like Alpha Design AI, Maieutic is part of a growing wave of semiconductor startups in India, a market projected to reach $270 billion by 2032. Investors are optimistic about the sector’s potential, with several Indian startups securing significant funding recently.
