How is Alibaba revolutionizing AI with its latest innovations?

This week, Alibaba has introduced significant advancements in AI, focusing on enterprise security, data synthesis, and navigation technology. At the Indonesia AI Conference 2025, Alibaba Cloud launched Model Studio: Exclusive, a secure AI development platform tailored for private and hybrid cloud environments, catering to industries like finance and healthcare. This platform enhances the deployment of large language models and AI agents in secure settings, offering features such as data parsing, automated synthesis, and task automation.

Additionally, Alibaba unveiled WebShaper, a novel data synthesis framework designed to improve the training of deep research agents by converting queries into mathematical representations, enhancing data quality and consistency. The WebShaper-72B model has achieved impressive results on the GAIA Text benchmark, and Alibaba has shared a dataset for further exploration.

In navigation, Amap, powered by Alibaba’s Qwen model, has launched the first AI-native travel agent, allowing users to create detailed travel plans via voice commands. This system integrates real-time data and user preferences to offer precise recommendations and routes.

Furthermore, Alibaba introduced Qoder, an agentic coding platform that enhances software development with AI-driven features like intelligent code suggestions and automated testing. Qoder supports multiple programming languages and is available for public preview.
