Apple Store pickup for the iPhone Duo resumed in the U.S. and Canada between 5:10 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. Pacific Time today, but inventory is extremely limited, with most stores showing no pickup slots available today.
How to check iPhone Duo pickup availability
To search for local iPhone Duo availability, go to the iPhone Duo order page, select your desired color and storage, proceed to the checkout screen, and look for the pick up in-store option. Enter your ZIP code to see whether any models are available for pickup with a reserved time slot.
Apple Store pickup was available for only a few minutes after iPhone Duo pre-orders opened on Friday, October 16, before the option disappeared until now.
The pickup system has also resumed in Australia, the U.K., Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, Japan, China, and some other countries.
Apple said demand for the device was “nothing short of extraordinary” just hours after pre-orders began last week, with delivery estimates pushing into late January. Apple added it is working to satisfy demand “as quickly as possible.” Given the scarcity, long queues formed at many Apple Stores on Friday and some customers managed to secure an iPhone Duo on a walk-in basis. If you are still looking for an iPhone Duo, check Apple’s pickup tool often.
