Is a Hong Kong start-up revolutionizing emission monitoring in China with AI?

A Hong Kong-based start-up has introduced an AI-driven system designed to monitor factory emissions by identifying their origin and size. This innovative solution, aimed at the Chinese market and beyond, promises real-time detection and quantification of industrial smoke emissions. The AURA framework, developed by ANTEI AI Innovation Hub, leverages camera installations to track emissions, offering a high level of accuracy even under challenging conditions. The system, already in use in select Balkan countries, reduces the need for extensive human monitoring by utilizing advanced AI technology, achieving an accuracy rate of 95 to 98 percent.
