Samsung is on the verge of launching its stable One UI 8.0 update, anticipated this month. The company has initiated a series of updates via the Galaxy Store, signaling the rollout’s proximity. These updates include enhancements to numerous language resource packs for Galaxy devices, which are crucial for translation and transcription tasks powered by Galaxy AI. Such updates typically precede significant software releases, indicating preparations for the One UI 8.0 update.
Users can access these updates through the Galaxy Store by navigating to the menu, selecting updates, and tapping the “Update all” button. The Android 15-based One UI 8.0, expected to launch in the coming weeks, may not be as extensive as its predecessor, One UI 7.0, but it introduces valuable enhancements to Samsung DeX, Secure Folder, and redesigned apps like Quick Share, Samsung Internet, and Weather.
The first devices to receive the update will likely include the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6, followed by the Galaxy S24 series and other Galaxy Z models. High-end tablets are also expected to receive the update by the month’s end.
