Is Samsung planning a tablet with a punch-hole display?

Samsung may be developing a tablet featuring a punch-hole display, according to new device rotation animations discovered in the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta firmware. Fans have often questioned why Samsung persists with notches or bezel-mounted front cameras on its tablets, unlike its smartphones that frequently sport punch-hole designs. The recent animations show a tablet-like device with a punch-hole camera, either centered on the long side or the short side of the display, akin to a smartphone. While these animations are not definitive proof of a new hardware direction, their absence in One UI 8.5 suggests they were crafted specifically for the latest firmware. Whether this signifies a shift in design strategy remains uncertain, but it presents an intriguing possibility for future Samsung tablets.
