iPhone 16e Refurbished at $419 Sells Out on Apple Store

Apple recently added the iPhone 16e to its refurbished U.S. online store, with prices starting as low as $419 while stock lasted. The refurbished units are already sold out, but Apple replenishes inventory on its refurbished store from time to time, so interested buyers were advised to bookmark the page and check back occasionally.

iPhone 16e specs and pricing

Originally released in February 2025, the iPhone 16e is a lower-end device featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display, an A18 chip paired with 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, a 12-megapixel front camera, a USB-C port and an Action button. The device does not include MagSafe. When new the iPhone 16e started at $599, so the refurbished models at $419 represented a discount of at least $180; while available, that $419 price made it the lowest-priced iPhone Apple sold directly.

Refurbished condition and warranty

Apple’s refurbished iPhones are sold unlocked and come with a new battery, a new outer shell and a plain box containing a USB-C cable. The devices are covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty and are eligible for extended AppleCare+ or AppleCare One coverage. Apple says its refurbished products are thoroughly cleaned and tested, and the original report noted they are, in its view, more or less indistinguishable from brand new devices.
