Is Samsung’s One UI 8 Beta 6 the final update for the Galaxy S25 series?

Samsung has initiated the rollout of the One UI 8 Beta 6 update for the Galaxy S25 series, including the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models. This update, identified by firmware version 5ZYHB/5BYHB, is expected to be the last step before the stable public release. The update, which is over 800MB in size, focuses on resolving known issues rather than introducing new features. It addresses several bugs, including problems with the lock screen displaying only app icons instead of full notifications, disappearing keyboard phrase suggestions after a reboot, and unexpected screen freezes. Additionally, it fixes errors in the clock widget’s time display and issues with the Naver Sports app and custom fonts. While rumors suggest new features like an improved “Audio Eraser” and “Call Captions” may be on the horizon, these have not been confirmed for this beta. The update also includes the latest September 2025 security patch, with a stable release expected to begin later this month.
