Samsung is gearing up for another Unpacked event on September 4, available exclusively online. Starting at 5:30 AM ET, viewers can tune in via Samsung’s YouTube channel and website. This event follows previous launches earlier in the year, including the Galaxy S25 series in January and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 in July.
With many smartphones already released, this event is expected to focus on new tablets. Samsung recently detailed the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, and rumors suggest the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra are also on the horizon. The Tab S11 is anticipated to feature an AMOLED display, 12GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, marking a departure from the usual Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. The Tab S11 Ultra is likely to offer superior specs, including a larger AMOLED screen, up to 16GB of RAM, and a hefty 11,600mAh battery.
Additionally, Samsung is likely to introduce the Galaxy S25 FE, a more affordable variant of the Galaxy S25. It is expected to share many attributes with the S24 FE but will introduce improvements like a 12MP selfie camera, a larger 4,900mAh battery, and better-wired charging.
For early risers, the Unpacked event promises to reveal exciting new products, potentially transforming Samsung’s tablet lineup. This won’t be the year’s final event, as Samsung plans to unveil more innovations, including the Project Moohan Android XR headset and a trifold phone expected in 2025.
