Is the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s anti-reflection glass still the best?

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra has sparked interest due to its anti-reflection glass, despite initial concerns about its effectiveness. Recent tests reveal that the S26 Ultra’s reflectivity is slightly higher than its predecessor, the S25 Ultra, yet it remains superior to competitors like the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. This is attributed to the exclusive Gorilla Armor 2 glass developed by Corning for Samsung, which incorporates special ions within the glass structure to disperse light and reduce reflections. While the Privacy Display feature may have impacted the reflectivity slightly, the difference is minimal and mostly noticeable when the screen is off. The anti-glare innovation not only enhances outdoor visibility but also improves indoor image quality by reducing ambient reflections. Samsung continues to push hardware boundaries with the introduction of the Privacy Display, ensuring that the Galaxy S26 Ultra remains a standout in smartphone technology.
