Dr. Amarpal Singh, Chairman of PSEB, highlighted the ethical use of AI to boost creativity and problem-solving skills among learners. He stressed the importance of students making ethical choices about AI tools, akin to selecting good friends, and using technology within a legal and ethical framework to enhance learning without compromising core values.
Google-led sessions highlighted AI’s transformative impact on education, emphasizing the need for awareness and readiness among educators and administrators for AI-driven approaches. A notable feature was Intel’s workshop on ‘AI in the Workplace,’ which attracted over 112 participants. The session provided practical training on deploying AI tools within government settings, focusing on data privacy and responsible usage.
IKG PTU conducted a workshop for school leaders on integrating AI into leadership and academic management, stressing the importance of identifying AI-generated content to maintain academic integrity. A student-oriented workshop by Neeev AI offered hands-on experience with AI applications, encouraging students to responsibly explore emerging tools.
Students were also educated on AI development processes and the skills needed to create such technologies, inspiring many to consider careers in AI. Punjab’s students, in particular, showed remarkable enthusiasm and adaptability, indicating a promising future for AI-driven education.
