Samsung is set to unveil its Galaxy S22 series next month, with the flagship smartphones expected to make their debut at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in February. The South Korean tech giant is anticipated to introduce the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. A teaser video has been released, although it reveals little about the new devices. TM Roh, Samsung’s President and Head of MX Business, highlighted in a blog post that the forthcoming Galaxy S22 series represents the most significant S series device the company has ever created, promising to merge the best of Samsung Galaxy experiences into one ultimate device. The series is expected to feature enhanced photography capabilities, particularly for night shots, along with a larger display and stylus support. Speculation suggests that the S22 Ultra will include inbuilt S Pen support, potentially replacing the Note series. The new phones are also touted to be more sustainable, offering faster performance and innovative features. While Samsung has not officially announced the date for the Galaxy Unpacked event, it is speculated to occur on February 8, with a Chinese launch on February 9.
