Is the Samsung Galaxy S26 launching in February 2026 in San Francisco?

Samsung is preparing to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 series, on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. This marks a slight delay compared to recent launches and signifies a strategic return to a prominent US tech hub known for its advancements in artificial intelligence.

San Francisco’s reputation as a global leader in AI development aligns with Samsung’s focus on integrating AI into its Galaxy ecosystem, making it an ideal location for the launch. This event will be the first Galaxy S series launch in the city since the Galaxy S23.

In a shift from previous plans, Samsung is reportedly reconsidering its model lineup. The anticipated Galaxy S26 Edge model has been canceled due to poor sales of its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Edge. Samsung is expected to return to its traditional model structure, with the S26 series featuring significant upgrades.

A major highlight of the Galaxy S26 series is the introduction of the Exynos 2600 processor. This next-generation chipset, with a 10-core CPU and an AMD-based GPU, is expected to be the world’s first 2nm-class smartphone chip, promising enhanced processing power and efficiency. Some models may also feature a unique Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.
