Recent rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s camera have been debunked, with insider information confirming that the new model will not feature the anticipated 12 MP telephoto sensor. Instead, the S26 Ultra will maintain a familiar camera setup, including a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP 5x telephoto lens, and a 10 MP 3x telephoto lens. Despite speculation, Samsung has not re-engineered the device to accommodate a larger sensor, and the camera bump’s dimensions remain unchanged. Additionally, rumors of a larger battery have been dismissed, with the phone expected to retain a 5,000 mAh capacity. While some software enhancements may still be introduced, the hardware updates are expected to be minimal. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to debut on February 25, 2026, at Samsung’s Unpacked event in San Francisco.
