The Galaxy Note 7, despite its sleek design, faced significant issues due to battery malfunctions leading to recalls. Samsung salvaged the design by launching the Galaxy Note FE, using revamped batteries and leftover components. Now, the Galaxy S26 FE, bearing the model number SM-S741, is introduced with a distinctive “Traffic Light” camera module design. Positioned as an entry-level flagship, it is equipped with last year’s Exynos processor, not the latest 2nm Exynos 2600. Rumored specifications include a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,900 nits. The phone will offer 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB, powered by a 4900 mAh to 5000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging.
