Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series, introduced in February, showcased a fresh design and significant upgrades. The anticipated Galaxy S26 FE, typically launched in August, has surfaced online, hinting at its design and specifications. The device’s design aligns with the S26 series, featuring a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module, reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold series. The camera module is positioned near the phone’s top and side edges, with a flat metal frame and distinct color variations between the frame and backplate.
Performance-wise, the Galaxy S26 FE is rumored to house an Exynos 2500 processor, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, paired with 8GB of RAM and operating on Android 17. Benchmark tests reveal a notable performance boost over its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 FE. The device is expected to sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, though its wireless charging capabilities remain uncertain.
Camera specifications suggest a triple rear setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultrawide and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, while the front camera offers a 12-megapixel sensor. The Galaxy S26 FE is anticipated to launch around the same time as the S25 FE, with potential price increases due to current RAM shortages.
