Google has unveiled a major redesign for Wear OS with its latest update, Wear OS 6. While this update has reached select Galaxy Watches, not all apps have embraced the new design language yet. However, Google is gearing up to introduce this fresh aesthetic to YouTube Music. The app is gradually adopting the Material 3 Expressive design, initially visible in the app’s Tile, which is the widget located on the left side of the watch face. This redesign is not exclusive to devices running Wear OS 6. The updated interface features vibrant backgrounds for popular playlists and a vertical poster with rounded corners. The Browse button is now conveniently positioned at the bottom of the smartwatch’s screen. The redesign also enhances usability, with bolder fonts replacing the previous thinner ones, and more vertical space allocated to each item in lists, simplifying music selection.
