Samsung has announced the successful completion of a field trial for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), a key 6G networking technology, conducted in collaboration with Verizon in the United States. The trial was carried out over Verizon’s existing commercial network during an international soccer fan event in Dallas, Texas. It marks one of the world’s first practical implementations of ISAC using current network architecture.

The trial leveraged Verizon’s commercial network infrastructure to demonstrate ISAC capabilities during the live fan event in Dallas. Samsung presented the exercise as a practical implementation of ISAC within today’s network framework, carried out in partnership with Verizon.
