Laters.com raises US$1.5M seed led by XBO Ventures after rebrand

SINGAPORE — Laters.com announced on September 3, 2026 that it has raised a US$1.5 million seed round led by XBO Ventures and completed a rebrand from flyfairly.com to laters.com.

Laters.com positions itself as a payments-first online travel agency that sells flights on more than 650 airlines and offers over 100 payment methods, including digital wallets, stablecoins and 70+ other cryptocurrencies, as well as roughly 40 buy now pay later and installment plans.

“Nobody should lose the fare they found because payday is two weeks away. Laters.com fixes the price today and spreads the cost,” said Alex Yardley, Founder and CEO of Laters.com.

Laters.com payment options

The company says the overwhelming majority of its payment volume is non-card, the inverse of the rest of the industry. Laters.com accepts stablecoins and more than 70 other cryptocurrencies, which are settled at checkout like any other payment method. According to the company, crypto customers spend more than twice as much as the average customer, typically on long-haul trips and higher cabin classes.

Launched from Singapore in August 2024, Laters.com has been profitable every month since February 2025 and is operating at a run rate of over a million travelers a year finding flights on the platform. The United States rapidly became its largest market. Consumer ratings on both Google and Trustpilot stand at 4.8 out of 5.

Public tools and independent scoring

Laters.com publishes a free country-by-country guide to “fly now pay later” providers at https://laters.com/fly-now-pay-later, covering services from Klarna and Afterpay to Zip and Atome. It also publishes the Laters.com Payment Score at https://laters.com/payment-score, which rates pay-later providers at the Laters.com checkout out of 10 on repayment flexibility, interest rate, eligibility and approval process. The company says no provider pays to be scored, ranked or placed, and that it earns the same margin regardless of how a traveler pays.

“We back companies that turn digital assets into something people actually spend. Laters.com has done that at one of the sharpest points of friction there is: paying for a flight. The majority of its volume already moves outside the card networks, and that is where we think this market is going,” said Dor Maman, Co-Founder and CFO of XBO.

The seed capital will be used to grow the Laters.com brand, expand the core business and develop new products and verticals. Yardley said the company was built around how Millennial and Gen Z travelers pay and that the approach works beyond flights.
