Samsung has launched the budget Galaxy A18 in Europe, with the handset now on sale in France at least. In France the phone is available with 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM and starts at €279.
Galaxy A18 specs and software
Samsung revealed a limited set of specifications for the A18: a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 1610 chipset, and a 50MP main camera paired with a 13MP front-facing camera. The device carries IP64 dust and water resistance, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, and 4G connectivity.
The A18 ships with Android 17 and One UI 9.0. Samsung lists support as six OS updates and six years of security patches. The company noted integration with Gemini and Circle to Search but the phone does not include any advanced Galaxy AI features.
Availability, price and design
The Galaxy A18 is offered in Black, Gray and Light Blue. Samsung said other European countries should follow France soon. The phone features an Infinity-U notch for the selfie camera and a relatively thick lower bezel, design cues that underline its position as an entry-level device, and overall it starts at €279 in the French market.
