Siri AI: Which Apple Home Devices Get It and When

Apple’s Siri AI will be available on some home products at launch and on others only later or not at all. HomeView and the Apple TV 4K (4th generation) will support Siri AI at launch on November 13; several other devices will receive it in future software updates or won’t support it at all.

Devices with Siri AI

HomeView and Apple TV 4K (4th generation) are listed as available with Siri AI at launch on November 13. Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) and Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) will gain Siri AI in tvOS 27.2. The HomePod mini 2 ships on October 30, but Siri AI will arrive for that model in a future software update rather than at shipping.

Although an earlier report suggested the original HomePod mini would support Siri AI, Apple has confirmed that the original HomePod mini does not support Siri AI.

Devices without Siri AI

The original HomePod mini, the original HomePod, the original Apple TV 4K when not running tvOS 27, and the Apple TV HD when not running tvOS 27 will not support Siri AI.

An additional model, HomePod 2, is listed as unconfirmed: it is possibly coming based on mentions in website metadata, but that support is not confirmed.

Siri AI requirements and limits

On HomePod and Apple TV 4K models that support Siri AI, the homeowner listed in the Home app must have an Apple Intelligence–enabled iPhone or iPad running the latest software. Siri AI must be turned on and set to a supported language. Once Siri AI is enabled, other household members do not need an Apple Intelligence–enabled device, except when making personal requests that use personal context.

HomeView is an exception: it does not require an Apple Intelligence–enabled iPhone or iPad for Siri AI except for requests that use personal context.

Siri AI on HomeView, Apple TV 4K, and HomePod mini 2 will be English-only at launch and limited to the United States, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.

EU availability and beta status

Siri AI is not available in the EU on iPhone and iPad, and therefore it will not be available for home devices that would otherwise support it in the EU. HomeView is also not launching in the EU.

Apple is still calling Siri AI a beta; it will be in beta when it becomes available on HomeView, Apple TV 4K, and HomePod mini 2.
