UGREEN has introduced the MagFlow, a Qi2.2 25W 10000mAh MagSafe battery bank for iPhone that stands out for its built‑in liquid cooling visible through a rear window.
UGREEN MagFlow liquid cooling and temperature
The battery’s back features a window that showcases liquid moving throughout the pack, a design intended to keep the unit cooler in use. UGREEN says the MagFlow will run about 18 degrees cooler than typical MagSafe battery banks. The reviewer notes that while it is cooler than usual, it is not cold— it will still feel warm in the hand.
On the bottom of the battery bank UGREEN integrates a USB‑C cable for charging a phone or other USB‑C devices that can’t, or that the user prefers not to, charge wirelessly. The reviewer found the built‑in cable handy at times, since wired charging remains more energy efficient than wireless charging.
A small display on the side shows battery percentage and charging speed.
The MagFlow is described as a little thick and lacks a kickstand, which the reviewer found bothersome at this price point given that many competitors include one. Based on case dimensions tested, the battery will stick out from the bottom of an iPhone Duo; the reviewer adds that this is true for most MagSafe accessories on iPhone Duo devices.
The UGREEN MagFlow is priced at $149, and UGREEN currently has it on sale for $95 on Amazon, a reduction the reviewer says makes it more palatable for buyers concerned about heat with MagSafe battery banks.
