Samsung is gearing up to launch its most premium foldable yet with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Leaks suggest this device will feature a 200MP camera, marking a significant upgrade in the foldable’s imaging capabilities. Alongside the camera, the phone is expected to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, enhancing low-light photography and zoom functions.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. The foldable will boast an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen, both with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Despite a thinner design, the phone maintains a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
Samsung aims to redefine the foldable market by combining the flexibility of a foldable with flagship features, making the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra a standout in its category. With Galaxy Unpacked approaching, all eyes are on Samsung to see if this device can truly set a new standard for Ultra phones.
