Across the globe, there is a strong desire for advancements in personal health technology, with half of the surveyed individuals believing that innovations in this field will significantly enhance their lives over the next five years. Following closely, 40% of respondents are keen on sustainable living solutions, while privacy and security technologies and educational tools are also of interest, garnering 34% and 26% respectively.
Regional differences are evident, as Western nations place a high emphasis on sustainable living innovations, especially in Germany where it tops the list at 52%, and in the USA where it ranks second at 40%. In contrast, sustainability is a priority for only 28% of participants in China and India. Although health technology is a leading interest in most regions, India’s focus is slightly different, with a significant interest in educational tools (34%) and personal AI assistants (32%). China, on the other hand, shows a notable preference for home-automation technologies, with 37% of respondents highlighting its importance, a figure that surpasses all other countries surveyed.
