Apple has revealed that tvOS will soon include a “Larger Text” feature, enabling users to increase text size on-screen for easier readability. This option is already available on devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro. This feature is part of a suite of new accessibility enhancements previewed by Apple, which also includes automatic captions for personal iPhone videos and improved natural language support for Voice Control, among others. These updates are slated for release later this year, with the “Larger Text” option expected to appear in the Apple TV’s Settings app as part of tvOS 27. The announcement is anticipated at the WWDC 2026 keynote on June 8, with a public release after beta testing in September.
