Apple is set to be a prominent participant at this year’s International Conference on Learning Representations, taking place from April 23 to 27 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As one of the event’s sponsors, Apple will present nearly 60 studies, highlighting its advancements in AI technology. Among the anticipated presentations is a demo of the SHARP model, capable of generating photorealistic 3D scenes from a single image in under a second, using an iPad Pro with the M5 chip. Another notable demonstration will feature on-device large language model (LLM) inference on a MacBook Pro with the M5 Max, utilizing Apple’s open-source MLX framework for AI inference on Apple silicon. Attendees can explore these innovations at the Apple Booth (#204) during the exhibition.
