The show’s centerpiece is the evolution of Samsung’s foldables. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a passport-like format and prioritizes lightness — 9.7 mm closed, 4.5 mm open and 201 g — while increasing battery capacity to 4,800 mAh. Samsung highlights a new “Flex Titanium” construction (a titanium-alloy film and plate) that greatly reduces crease visibility and helps the display lie perfectly flat when opened.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra ramps up the ambition: an 8‑inch inner display, a 6.5‑inch external 120 Hz screen, 215 g, and notably a 5,000 mAh battery with wired charging up to 45 W (0–67% in 30 minutes, per Samsung). The Ultra also distinguishes itself with more ambitious camera modules — a 200 MP main sensor, 50 MP ultra‑wide and a 10 MP 3x telephoto — and display improvements (peaking at up to 3,000 nits and anti‑reflection treatment).
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 keeps the clamshell form factor but gets thinner and lighter (180 g). It features a 6.9‑inch internal OLED at 120 Hz, an enhanced “FlexWindow” for richer cover‑screen interactions, a 50 MP camera with hands‑free features and stabilization, a 4,300 mAh battery and 45 W fast charging. The Flip 8 is powered by an Exynos 2600 processor and offers up to 12 GB of RAM.
