This week’s tech roundup highlights significant developments in Central and Eastern Europe, showcasing the influence of regional founders on the global scene. Key updates include a major funding round and acquisition by Fonoa, a tax automation platform originating from Croatia but based in Dublin. They secured $110 million in Series C funding and acquired PwC’s Indirect Tax Edge platform. Lithuanian startup Kopa.ai, which offers AI solutions for e-commerce, raised €2 million in seed funding with notable investors.
