What’s new in Galaxy AI for the Galaxy S26 Ultra?

Samsung continues to innovate with its Galaxy AI, now taking a significant leap forward with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Unlike previous iterations where AI features were largely reactive, the S26 Ultra introduces a more proactive approach. The AI now learns user habits, offering suggestions and surfacing relevant information without needing a prompt. This advancement is powered by the enhanced NPU in the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, allowing more on-device processing.

A standout new feature is “Now Nudge,” which observes screen activity to suggest logical next steps, like adding calendar reminders or retrieving photos for sharing. Meanwhile, “Now Brief” has been upgraded to automatically extract and highlight important details from messages, ensuring users don’t miss crucial information.

The “Photo Assist” tool has evolved from a simple object removal feature to a comprehensive editing suite with options like AI Eraser, Move, Create, and Style, offering users more creative control over their images. “Creative Studio” allows the generation of new visuals from text prompts, expanding creative possibilities.

The “Audio Eraser” feature, now integrated into third-party apps, provides real-time noise reduction, enhancing audio clarity in various scenarios. Additionally, “Notification Highlights” offers smarter notification management by summarizing messages and prioritizing notifications based on user habits.

Existing features from the Galaxy S25 Ultra have also been improved, with faster performance and enhanced reliability, ensuring a seamless user experience with the latest Galaxy AI advancements.
