AirPods users connecting their earbuds to an iPhone with iOS 27 will encounter a newly redesigned settings menu that efficiently organizes the numerous features Apple has introduced over recent years. The updated menu, accessible once the AirPods are paired, offers a more intuitive navigation experience. A volume slider is now positioned under the Listening Mode toggles, and various sections such as Hearing Health, Call Controls, Camera Control, Live Translation, and Adaptive Audio have been streamlined into distinct menus labeled with new icons: Accessibility, Audio & Routing, Hearing Health, and Controls & Gestures. Additional menus for Battery, Privacy, and Find My options have also been introduced. This compact design eliminates the need for excessive scrolling to locate specific options. The redesign is also reflected in the System Settings for macOS 27 Golden Gate. Apple is set to release a public beta of iOS 27 and macOS 27 next month, with a full release anticipated in the fall.
