Samsung has announced a delay in the launch of its highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series, initially expected to debut in January. The new release date is now set for March, marking a significant shift in the company’s usual schedule. This postponement could also affect the launch timelines of other Samsung products, such as the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8. The delay is reportedly due to Samsung’s plans to incorporate its in-house 2 nm Exynos 2600 processor into the S26 series, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company is taking extra time to ensure sufficient production of this powerful chip, which will replace the Snapdragon processors in some regions. Despite the setback, Samsung aims to deliver improved devices, hoping that consumers will appreciate the enhancements in the long run.
