Where is Samsung’s Ballie at CES 2026?

Ballie, Samsung’s once highly anticipated rolling robot, remains elusive as it was absent from CES 2026. Despite being introduced six years ago at CES 2020, Ballie has yet to make it to market, with a launch missed last year. Recently, Samsung stated they are still refining the technology to enhance user experience, but no updates were presented at the latest CES.

Although Samsung showcased various prototypes, including a robot with a circular screen from its Display division, Ballie was nowhere to be found. This absence raises questions about the future of the project. Officially, Ballie hasn’t been canceled, yet its lack of presence suggests Samsung might be moving on. The only remnant of Ballie’s promise is a sign-up page still active on Samsung USA’s portal.

Meanwhile, Samsung introduced the Jet Bot Steam Ultra, a new vacuum cleaner capable of navigating obstacles, set for release later this year. However, without Ballie’s innovative features like a built-in projector and Gemini AI, it doesn’t quite fill the gap left by the long-awaited robot.
