Which New Apple Wallet Features Are Available in Two U.S. States?

This week, Apple Wallet introduced new features in Arkansas and Georgia. Residents of Arkansas can now integrate their driver’s license or state ID into the Apple Wallet app on their iPhone and Apple Watch. This allows them to verify their identity or age at select airports, businesses, and apps. To set up, users should open the Wallet app, tap the plus sign, select “Driver’s License and ID Cards,” choose Arkansas, and follow the instructions. Arkansas joins 13 other states, including Arizona and Maryland, in offering this feature, which is also available in Puerto Rico.

In Georgia, commuters in the Atlanta area can now add the MARTA Breeze Card to their Apple Wallet. This enables them to pay fares at train stations and on buses using their iPhone or Apple Watch. Users can add funds to the Breeze Card directly in Apple Wallet, with options for single rides and discounted plans. To add the card, users should open the Wallet app, tap the plus sign, select “Transit Card,” and choose the Breeze Card, then follow the setup instructions.
