Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 with enhanced health and wellness features. However, the company is discontinuing the Vascular Load feature in the US, which was introduced with the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. This decision might be linked to regulatory challenges with the FDA, though Samsung hasn’t confirmed this. The Vascular Load feature, which analyzed heart rate data to assess vascular stress during sleep, will remain available outside the US. Users can download their existing data before the feature is removed. Meanwhile, Samsung plans to introduce a Blood Pressure Trend feature with the new watches, offering regular blood pressure monitoring and health insights.
