The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has enjoyed significant success, praised for its ultra-slim and lightweight design, and breaking pre-order records according to Samsung. Yet, the company is not pausing to celebrate; instead, it is reportedly developing two new Galaxy Z Fold models set to launch next year. The key distinction between these two models lies in their screen aspect ratios. One of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 variants will feature a wider internal foldable screen with an 18:18 aspect ratio, contrasting with the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 10:9 aspect ratio. Samsung’s plans, shared with component suppliers, suggest a launch in the latter half of next year, coinciding with Apple’s expected entry into the foldable phone market. Additionally, Samsung is preparing to introduce its first tri-folding phone, potentially named the Galaxy Z TriFold, boasting advanced features such as a 6.5-inch cover screen, a 10-inch internal display, a triple-camera system, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, all in a sleek design.
