Will the Foldable iPhone Feature Four Cameras and Touch ID?

Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone is set to include four cameras and a Touch ID feature, replacing the usual Face ID. The device will have a front camera, an inner camera, and two rear cameras. Like recent iPad models, it will incorporate Touch ID within the power button. The foldable iPhone will utilize Apple’s second-generation C2 modem for cellular connectivity but will not have a physical SIM card slot. Currently, Apple is testing black and white color options for this model. The design is expected to resemble a book, featuring a large inner display when opened. The outer display is anticipated to be 5.5 inches, while the inner display will measure 7.8 inches. Unlike its competitors, it aims for a “crease-free” inner display, achieved through a laser-drilled metal display plate to minimize stress from bending. Apple has also shifted from on-cell to in-cell display technology to make the crease less noticeable. The foldable iPhone is planned for release next year.
