Will the Galaxy S26 feature the latest Bluetooth technology?

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series is set to include the Exynos 2600 chipset in most markets, while others will receive the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. However, these might not be the only processors in the lineup. A new Samsung chipset, the Exynos S6568, has been identified on the Bluetooth SIG website. It boasts Bluetooth 6.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity, designed to work with an “Exynos Application Processor” like the Exynos 2600.

Bluetooth 6.1, introduced in May, enhances security and power efficiency compared to its predecessor, Bluetooth 6.0, and represents the latest advancement in Bluetooth technology. Currently, no devices support Bluetooth 6.1, but Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series in March 2025. The delay in launch is attributed to a reshuffling of the lineup’s models. As the phones near the final stages of development, including component certification, the certification of the Exynos S6568 suggests it might be integrated into the Galaxy S26 series.
