Cameras: reworked sensors for greater versatility
The main camera reportedly upgrades to a 200 MP ISOCELL HP6 sensor using LOFIC (Low-Frequency Image Capture) technology to boost dynamic range and low-light detail. The secondary setup has been simplified and strengthened: a 50 MP ultra-wide and a 50 MP telephoto replace previous multi-module arrangements, while a dedicated 10 MP 3x zoom sensor has been removed. The front camera increases from 12 MP to 16 MP. Overall, the system aims for sharper images and more useful zooms, though Samsung hasn’t disclosed the specifics of the image-processing pipeline.

Security: Polar ID and 3D facial recognition
Samsung is reportedly introducing a biometric solution dubbed “Polar ID,” a 3D facial-recognition system positioned to compete on accuracy and reliability. This would enhance security for device unlocks and payments, although technical details about sensors and data storage have not yet been disclosed.

Design and charging: subtle, practical refinements
The overall design remains aligned with the line’s premium positioning, with functional refinements. Wired charging jumps to 65 W — a significant everyday improvement that shortens effective recharge times. No additional information has been provided about wireless charging or environmental resistance.

Price: innovation comes at a cost
The combination of a high-density battery, a 2 nm chip, revamped camera hardware and Polar ID is expected to push the retail price up. Market watchers estimate a starting price above $1,300.
