Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8, set to launch in 2026, is generating buzz with its anticipated features and design improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7. This clamshell-style foldable smartphone is expected to deliver enhanced performance, a lighter build, and a nearly crease-free display. The device will sport a sleek design with a cover display and a large foldable OLED screen, promising impressive brightness and HDR10+ support. Camera capabilities are set to include a 50MP primary rear camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens, with all cameras supporting up to 4K 60fps video recording. Powered by the Exynos 2600 processor, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will offer significant performance and efficiency upgrades, featuring up to 12GB of RAM and ample storage options. Additional features include 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, and a robust battery with fast charging capabilities. Running on Android 17-based One UI 9.0, the phone will support extensive software updates and incorporate various AI-driven features. Anticipated to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to be available in early August with a starting price of approximately $949.99 in the US.
