The leaked images show a grey handset featuring a three-camera setup, closely resembling the design of the iPhone 17 Pro. Tata Electronics, which plays a significant role in Apple’s strategy to diversify manufacturing beyond China, disclosed the cybersecurity incident after a ransom group known as World Leaks circulated over 200,000 files on the dark web. These files contain information not only related to Apple but also Tesla.
In response, Tata has tightened access to sensitive systems and engaged a global consultant to conduct a forensic audit. Apple is actively investigating the breach and collaborating with Tata to implement long-term security enhancements.
